3.18 Known Issues and Workarounds

Here are some known issues and potential workarounds, though, YMMV.

19000/19k Error Message​

  1. CTRL + R to refresh launcher
  2. Click the Star Citizen icon at the top left & wait to see if news loads
  3. CTRL + Shift + Alt + R to hardcore refresh
  4. Close launcher, right click icon in taskbar, & quit launcher
  5. Pull up launcher, log in again

If these workarounds don't work, try a character repair on the RSI website

There's a chance that the Repair tool is disabled by CIG

6000x/60k Error (Lobby Join Error)​

  1. Add me as a friend (bognogus), right click on my name, attempt to join my server 20 times (ignore the server full error, just keep trying)
  2. If you have another friend who's in the PU, right click on their name, and attempt to join their server 20 times
  3. If those don't work, try joining the US, then EU, the AU, then Asia servers one at a time, one time each
  4. Go back to the top if these don't work

30000 / 30k error (while trying to join a server)​

  1. Wait 15 minutes
  2. Try a different region
  3. Connect to Arena Commander > Multiplayer > Free flight and play there for 15 minutes a) if it doesn't connect quickly, wait 15 minutes while it loads
    b) play for about 15 minutes, then try to rejoin the PU servers

Stuck at 20391 Entities​

  1. Wait 15 minutes
  2. Try a different region
  3. Join a friend on a different region/server/shard
  4. Connect to Arena Commander > Multiplayer > Free flight and play there for 15 minutes a) if it doesn't connect quickly, wait 15 minutes while it loads
    b) play for about 15 minutes, then try to rejoin the PU servers

ASOP Terminal is Black/Ships Aren't Showing​

  1. Hit the X at the top and try again
  2. Try another terminal
  3. If it says loading ships, give it some time to try to load
  4. If none of these work, rent a ship, and your ships should show up
  5. If you rent a ship and that still doesn't work, check all hangars AND pads for leftover ships. Steal them.

Character Stowed Issue​

  1. Do a character repair, details found here: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/account/reset (this may be disable by CIG. If so, skip this step)
  2. Log out of the launcher and back in
  3. Load into a single player race in Arena Commander, race a few times, then try to join the PU (Contributed by FlameKPT)
  4. Continue to spam Enter Universe and when an error comes up, hit enter and continue hitting OK and keep trying.

Stuck in a seat?​

  1. Hit U to turn off ship, Hit R to turn it back on, then Hold Y for one second, pause, try again
  2. If you're in a copilot or gunner seat, have the pilot store the ship.
  3. Fly around and pull heavy G's to make your character pass out.
  4. Have your friend punch you till you pass out :D
